Starting his career in Sales and Marketing, he pioneered the establishment of Malia Group’s businesses in Iraq. Mr. Chehab plays a leading role in Malia Group's expansion ambitions in new sectors and new territories. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon and President of the Lebanese Kurdistan Friendship Association. He holds an MBA from ESSEC- France and a Master’s Degree in Economics - Paris II France.

    Freddy Chehab is a seasoned investment banker with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, working for various prestigious banks and financial institutions including BNP Paribas, Oddo et Cie., Perfectis Private Equity, BEMO Security and IBL Investment Bank. Most recently, he spent almost two years advising Iraqi and Chinese clients on infrastructure projects in Iraq. During his career, Mr. Chehab has advised various clients from and outside of the EMEA region on several transactions and has developed extensive relationships with sovereign wealth funds, family offices, banks and corporates. He holds a Master in Management with a concentration in Finance from the business school of the EM-Lyon (France) and a Master in International Private Law from the University of Saint Joseph (Lebanon). He is fluent in French, English and Arabic.
