As part of its commitment to quality, safety, and outstanding performance, Cosmaline applied for and successfully passed the ISO 22716:2007 Cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) audit – becoming one of the few companies of its kind in the region to earn this prestigious certification.

“Safety of products is of prime importance to us. Throughout the years we have made sure to comply with best practices in all production, storage, and delivery of each of our 100-plus SKUs,” said Charbel Al Haddad, Deputy Site Manager, at Cosmaline. “Today, as proud recipients of the Cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certificate, we will continue this tradition,” he added.

Implementation of ISO 22716:2007 Cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) ensures the safety of products through a management systems approach to documenting and regulating the production, control, storage and shipment of cosmetic products. Furthermore, compliance demonstrates Cosmaline’s capacity and capability to employ important and essential tools that reduce the risk and liability of its cosmetic products.

Cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are a set of hands-on advice, operational rules, and organizational guidelines especially focused on the human, technical, and administrative factors contributing to product quality. They have been developed in collaboration with cosmetics industry professionals and promotes best-in-class methods.
